A whiteness of Swans
This is a very special family of swans. A Whiteness of swans is their collective name which perfectly describes their gleaming white plumage. Swans are a symbol of love because they mate for life, so romantic.
However these aren’t just swans, they are also holding matches with which to light the candles held withing the golden flower tree.
Each Swan holds a dozen or so colourful matches, the tree has a hidden match striker on the back and they all come with a solid colour candle.
It measures 11cms tall by 14cms wide and is made using white earthenware clay with underglazes, oxides, glaze and lusters, The Swans are painted with Mother of Pearl luster, giving them an iridescent glow and the tree tops are painted with gold luster.
