Pink treasure box
This beautiful ceramic box has been made using red earthenware clay and was designed to hold jewellery… or chocolates!!
It has been painted with white slip and coloured with underglazes in pink with a red and green pattern.
The white dots are all slightly raised and the whole piece is topped off with gold lustre highlights.
It has a clear shiny glaze and four little feet to raise it slightly.
It measures 20cms wide by 12cms deep by 10cms high including the ornate handle.
