The Little tiger sits on top of the leopard and they are both on top of the lion. The piece is inspired by the many Staffordshire animal figurines held within the V&A’s ceramics collection.
This piece doesn’t serve a function other than to bring a smile to the viewer.
It measures 23cms at its tallest point by 21cms wide.
Its hand carved using white earthenware clay and painted using slips and underglazes.
